Shipping policy
This is Part 1 of the Shipping Policy and Refunds and Returns Policy. Part 2 is the Refunds and Returns Policy. Both parts form part of the Terms of Sale.
Where we ship
We ship from Melbourne, Australia. What you can order depends on where you are.
Australia. The full range. Handheld scanners, aircraft, payloads, accessories, software and services.
New Zealand. SHARE handheld scanners, scanner accessories, software licences and remote training.
Southeast Asia. SHARE handheld scanners, scanner accessories, software licences and remote training. Currently Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Brunei and Cambodia.
DJI aircraft, DJI docks, DJI payloads and DJI accessories are sold in Australia only. Our distribution rights for DJI products are limited to Australia, so we cannot sell, ship or export them outside Australia, and we cannot supply them to a buyer who intends to export them. Products that are not available in your country will not appear in the store when you browse from that country.
If your country is not listed, email info@mirrormapper.com.au with the job you are running. We will tell you whether we can supply and what the freight looks like before you commit to anything.
Dispatch times
Dispatch is the time from cleared payment to the parcel leaving us. It is not the delivery time.
- Items held in Melbourne: 1 to 3 business days.
- Items that ship from the manufacturer or supplier: 5 to 15 business days. We tell you the expected lead time on the quotation before you order.
- Configured kits, commissioned units and anything that needs firmware, licensing or RTK setup before it goes out: add 2 to 5 business days.
- International orders: add 2 to 3 business days for export documentation and dangerous goods paperwork.
Business days are Monday to Friday excluding Victorian public holidays.
Delivery times and cost
Australia. Tracked express courier is included on orders over $500. Metro capitals are usually 1 to 2 business days from dispatch, regional and remote 3 to 7 business days. A signature is required on delivery for orders over $500.
New Zealand. 3 to 7 business days in transit from dispatch. Freight is calculated at checkout or quoted in writing.
Southeast Asia. 5 to 12 business days in transit from dispatch, plus customs clearance at your end, which we do not control and cannot estimate. Freight is calculated at checkout or quoted in writing.
Transit times are estimates from our carriers, not commitments. We are not liable for carrier or customs delays. If a delivery date matters to your job, tell us before you order and we will confirm in writing whether we can meet it.
Import duties, taxes and customs
International orders are sold DAP (Delivered at Place, Incoterms 2020) to the address you give us.
Prices shown to you outside Australia exclude Australian GST, because goods exported from Australia are GST free.
You are the importer. You are responsible for import duties, import GST or VAT, customs brokerage, clearance fees and any other charge levied in your country. These are not included in the price or the freight charge and we cannot estimate them for you. If you refuse a shipment or fail to clear it and it is returned to us, you are responsible for the return freight, the storage costs and any re-import charges, and we will deduct those from any refund.
New Zealand buyers: goods valued over NZD 1,000 have GST and duty assessed by New Zealand Customs at the border. We do not collect New Zealand GST on those orders.
Addresses we can and cannot ship to
- Street addresses only. No PO boxes, no parcel lockers.
- Someone who can sign must be available at the delivery address.
- We do not ship to freight forwarders, mail forwarding services or third party consolidation addresses. Orders using one will be cancelled and refunded.
- Address changes after dispatch are at the carrier's discretion and any redirection fee is yours.
Lithium batteries and dangerous goods
SHARE scanners and most of our products contain or ship with lithium batteries. These are dangerous goods for air freight.
- Batteries shipped installed in the device travel under UN3481. Loose or spare batteries travel under UN3480 and are restricted or refused on many routes.
- Some destinations, carriers and delivery services will not accept them at all. Where that happens we will contact you with an alternative route or cancel and refund the affected line.
- Spare batteries may need to ship separately, on a different service, and at additional cost.
- We prepare the dangerous goods declaration. You must not repack, relabel or forward the goods by air without doing the same.
Title and risk
Title in the goods stays with Mirror Mapper Pty Ltd until we receive the purchase price in full in cleared funds.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you on dispatch from Melbourne.
Freight is insured only if you ask us to insure it and we confirm that in writing on the quotation or invoice. If you do not, the goods travel uninsured and the loss is yours once they leave us. On international orders we strongly recommend you take transit insurance. We can arrange it at cost.
Inspect the outer packaging before you sign. If the carton is crushed, punctured, water damaged or resealed, note it on the carrier's paperwork or refuse the delivery, then photograph it and email us the same day. A clean signature on visibly damaged packaging makes a transit claim very hard to run.
Payment before dispatch
International orders are prepaid in full in cleared funds. Credit terms, purchase orders on account and Net 30 arrangements apply to Australian customers only.
For Australian customers on approved credit terms, dispatch follows the order acknowledgement rather than payment. Everyone else, we dispatch once funds clear.
Radio approvals and local regulation
Products that include RTK, GNSS, Wi-Fi or other radio transmitters are supplied to the manufacturer's specification. They are not certified by us for use in any country other than Australia.
You are responsible for confirming that the product can be lawfully imported, approved, registered and operated in your country, including type approval by your national telecommunications regulator, and any survey, mapping or geospatial licensing that applies where you work. We can tell you what the device transmits. We cannot tell you whether it is approved where you are.
If a product is seized, refused entry or cannot be lawfully operated in your country, that is not a fault in the goods and it does not entitle you to a refund.
Export controls
We assess every order against Australian export control law, including the Defence Trade Controls Act 2012 (Cth) and the Defence and Strategic Goods List, and against manufacturer territory restrictions.
We will decline or cancel any order where a permit is required and not held, where the buyer or destination appears on an Australian, United Nations, United States, United Kingdom or European Union sanctions list, or where we believe the goods are intended for re-export in breach of those controls.
By ordering, you warrant that you are buying for your own use or for supply within your own country, that you will not re-export the goods in breach of any applicable export control or sanctions law, and that you are not acting for anyone who would be prohibited from buying directly.
Tracking, damage and lost shipments
You get a tracking number by email on dispatch.
If a shipment is damaged in transit, tell us within 5 business days of delivery at support@mirrormapper.com.au with photos of the packaging, the label and the goods. Keep all packaging until the claim is closed, because carriers will refuse a claim without it.
If a shipment is not delivered, tell us within 14 days of the expected delivery date for domestic orders and within 30 days for international orders, so we can open a carrier trace inside the carrier's own claim window.
Returns
See our Refunds and Returns Policy. Change of mind returns are not available on international orders. Faulty goods are covered wherever you are.
