Warranty & returns
Local warranty path, how claims work, and what happens while your unit is in for repair.
12-month warranty
Hardware sold by Mirrormapper carries a 12-month warranty path under Australian Consumer Law, with repairs coordinated from Melbourne. It covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. There is no fixed statutory period under the ACL. The guarantee runs for a reasonable time given the price and nature of the goods. The 12-month path is our voluntary dealer process, sitting alongside those rights.
Typically not covered: crash damage, water ingress from misuse, unauthorised modification, consumables, and wear items. DJI Care Enterprise and similar manufacturer programmes sit alongside this where you purchase them.
How to make a claim
- Email support@mirrormapper.com.au with the serial, order or PO number, and a short description of the fault.
- We confirm whether it is a warranty, Care, or chargeable repair path.
- We arrange return freight or a local drop-off where that is practical. International claims are return to base in Melbourne. See our refunds and returns policy §2.10.
Turnaround
Diagnostic and repair times depend on parts and manufacturer queues. We give you an estimate when we open the claim and update you if that moves. International claims typically add 2 to 4 weeks for freight and clearance.
Loan unit during repair
Where we hold a suitable loan unit and the claim is accepted, we can discuss a loan while yours is in for repair. Loan units are available in Australia only. Availability is limited and not guaranteed for every SKU, so ask when you open the claim.
DJI Care Enterprise
For DJI aircraft, Care Enterprise reduces downtime cost after incidents outside standard warranty. We can include Care on the quote when you buy. DJI products are sold in Australia only.
Australian Consumer Law
ACL guarantees apply in addition to any manufacturer or dealer warranty. Nothing on this page limits rights you cannot exclude under the ACL. New Zealand consumers also have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Change of mind and restocking
Change of mind returns are available on Australian orders within 14 days, subject to conditions and a restocking fee. They are not available on international orders. Configured payloads, custom AI models and kits built to your quote are generally non-returnable for change of mind. Stock accessories may be returnable under our refund policy. Ask before you open the case if you think you have the wrong item.
