What inspection is
Inspection cameras capture high-resolution optical evidence of assets you cannot safely walk every day. Zoom and close-range stills answer what failed and where, so crews climb once with the right parts.
This lane is not thermal, not UV corona, and not mapping photogrammetry. Those jobs live on sibling Sensors pages when the deliverable is heat, discharge or a textured survey surface.
Discharge vs heat vs visual
Visual zoom finds cracked fittings, missing hardware and surface damage. Thermal finds resistance under load. UV finds corona discharge with little or no heat.
Many network programmes fly more than one sensor on the same Matrice. We quote the stack against the inspection standard you invoice, not a single brochure SKU.
Zoom stand-off vs close-range
Zenmuse H30 is the long-range daylight zoom path when you need to read a bolt or bushing from a safe corridor standoff. SHARE 100M A10 is the close-range path when millimetre-class stills with autofocus and fill light are the brief.
Pro V2 sits beside them for high-resolution medium-format stills without the A10 close-range kit.
Dock 3 continuous routes
When the same yard or corridor needs scheduled or callout flights without mobilising a crew every cycle, pair the inspection camera with Dock 3.
Remote continuous inspection needs a commissioned payload, airspace plan and handover. We treat Dock as part of the stack, not an afterthought accessory.

Tick means it wins often. Dash means it can work with the right plan. Cross means it is usually the wrong tool.

After the flight
H30 capture lands in DJI Pilot 2. SHARE 100M stills follow the SHARE processing path you already licence or the export we wire at handover.
Same engineers stay on support after commissioning so the first paid inspection is not a guess.

Applications
Pick the job closest to yours.
-
Powerline & network
Corridor structure, vegetation and asset detail. Fly LiDAR and AI, add high-res SHARE inspection cameras, dock when the route repeats.
-
Solar utilities
Find hot cells and string faults before they cost you yield. Fly thermal, process in Thermalmapper, hand over a report the asset team can act on.
-
Mining & quarry
Pit to plant to decline. One coordinate system, two capture methods, a model your surveyors will sign.
-
As-built surveying
Capture what was actually built, not what was drawn. Interiors on foot, roofs and yards from the air, one registered model.
